Are there tax discounts for early payment?

Yes.Effective January 1, 2011 discounts for the prompt of taxes excluding Fire and Sanitation Levies and Street Lights are as follows:

If paid by January 31st	15%
If paid by February 28th	13.75%
If paid by March 31st	12.5%
if paid by April 3oth	11.25%
If paid by May 31st	10%
If paid by June 30th	8.75%
If paid by July 31st	7.5%
If paid by August 31st	6.25%
If paid by October 31st	3.75%
If paid by November 30th	2.5%
No discount for December

When are tax notices sent out?

Tax bills are usually mailed out in June each year.

Do you accept post dated cheques?

Yes we accept post dated cheques. Once the payment is put through we will mail out a paid receipt.

When are taxes due?

Taxes are due on December 31st of each year.
