1) Moving Permit Application ( moving existing residence out)

Fee $50.00
Moving Deposit: $1000.00           
*Deposit is fully refundable pending conditions are met*

If the building that is being moved is staying within the Municipality, it will need to be inspected by the building inspector prior to permits being issued. A pre-inspection fee ($100) is required to cover the building inspector’s services. If the building is being moved outside of the RM, we do not require an inspection, but the other Municipality may.

2) Moving Permit Application ( move new residence in)

Fee $50.00
Moving Deposit: $1000.00           
*Deposit is fully refundable pending conditions are met*

The building that is being moved into the Municipality will need to be inspected by the building inspector prior to permits being issued. A pre-inspection fee ($100) is required to cover the building inspector’s services.

3) Development Permit Application 

Fee $100.00

• Indicate the location (ie) Lot/Block & Sunnyside Beach
• The applicant’s name & address & best contact #
• The proposed development: New Residence
• Attach a site sketch: An aerial view of lot showing size of lot & visual placement of proposed new residence, indicating the number of feet from the new residence to all sides of the lot and from existing garage/ accessory building if applicable
• Date & sign form

Building Permit Application                                                           

Fee $0.55/ square foot

• Fill in all owner information as required
• Fill in information Re: Building specs (Foundation/heating/roofing, etc)
• Fill in information Re: Square footage & estimated value of construction
• Attach blueprints
• Date & sign form
• Provide our office with completed Contractor List and attach to Building Permit Applicatio

*ALL PERMITS ARE VALID FOR 1 YEAR FROM ISSUING DATE*
